The Process
I handled the full refinishing process using professional spray-painting techniques to ensure a smooth, factory-grade finish.
The job started with careful prep work: cleaning, sanding, and masking every surface to protect the surrounding walls and floors. Once the wood was ready, I applied a bonding primer to lock in coverage and prevent bleed-through from the original dark stain. After that, the stairs were spray-painted in a classic white shade, layer by layer, for a flawless, even result.
The Result: Bright, Clean & Modern
The transformation was immediate. The staircase now looks brighter, more open, and modern—no heavy shadows, no dull tones. It ties the whole home together and adds a fresh sense of space the moment you walk in.
